American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sean Thomas Gerard was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and currently resides in Wilmington, NC. Sean and his band Onward, Soldiers were featured on the show One Tree Hill, have played various music festivals around the country including CMJ, SXSW, 35 Denton and Hopscotch, had his song "Let The Time Roll By" on the compilation CD "Gasoline Rainbows" by Vagrant Records, and was featured on Nashville's Music City Roots. He also can be seen on PBS's Sun Sessions, filmed at Sun Studio in Memphis.
When performing solo, Sean's songs are stripped bare, exposing his keen sense of melody and songwriting craftsmanship. He delivers his songs with great intensity and undeniable sincerity. His catchy, yet haunting tunes, chocked full of dreamy lyrics and clever observations, will stick with you for days. He can sing you to sleep, or wake you from the dead with his dynamic vocal stylings. Sean’s first solo endeavour, titled “Great Unknown” was released in August of 2015. His follow up, full length album "While We're In The Blue" was released in March of 2017. His single, “Jovie” was released in April of 2020. The second single from his upcoming album, "Strange & Electrifying" was released in October of 2020 on Fort Lowell Record's vinyl compilation GROW. His second full length album "Finally Found a Paradise" was released March 30, 2021 on Fort Lowell Records.
