Michael Tracy combines straightforward American Rock and Roll with poignant lyrical themes, reminiscent of Rock Singer/Songwriters like Tom Petty & Bob Seger but with a modern edge that hints of The Killers.  He has released three studio albums, and together with his band has been invited to be supporting act for rock heavy weights like twice opening for Bon Jovi (garnering him a featured article in Billboard Magazine), Poison, George Thorogood, Styx, Foreigner, Don Felder, Jefferson Starship, Dokken, Marshall Tucker Band, & Foghat.  Michael has also has received many local and regional awards including: Best Of Charlotte (Best Songwriter), Queen City Award winner for Best Rock Artist, and multiple Carolina Music Award nominations for Best Rock Artist.
