Folkstone Stringband (former members of Possum Creek Bluegrass Band) began as a jam among a few bluegrass pickers in the Wilmington, NC area.

Soon people wanted the band for parties and weddings. The sound is tight with strong old time and bluegrass energy, hot picking and proud singing. Folkstone Stringband like to highlight their originals among the old time and bluegrass favorites with a few outlaw country songs thrown in for flavor. The hard driving, barn burning music draws in music fans young and old alike. So grab your dancing shoes and a partner for a lively time whenever you see the boys from Folkstone Stringband.
