Release their new album ‘Roadkill Mojo Swamp Songs Vol. 1’
This will be the physical CD release for the album and the very first opportunity to hear it and get a copy!
The duo formed in 2023, playing monthly at Quanto Basta. After playing several shows decided to record a collection of original music (from Both McQuay & Bolton), traditional blues, jazz, Cajun, zydeco and funk tunes. The title track ‘Roadkill Mojo’ tells the mystical tale of a woman traveling around the bayou in an El Camino, picking up roadkill mojo and the voodoo that comes along! The album also features more originals, a couple Louis Armstrong classics, Lee Dorsey and Buckwheat Zydeco covers, as well as a few of traditional songs associated with New Orleans.
Join us for a performance of the album in its entirety as well as some other select tunes.
