In this unique structure for sharing original music, you can expect to see 3-4 songwriters on stage together at the same time sharing stories and often accompanying one another, and engaging with the audience. If you love original music, and artist collaboration in an intimate setting, you definitely want to get tickets for this event!

Chris Nelson

Chris Nelson mixes traditional/modern country music with his ability to play the saxophone & guitar. In 2025, in the Josie Music Awards (held at the Grand Ole Opry), he was nominated for Musician of The Year, Male Vocalist of The Year, Country Song of The Year and Rising Star of The Year. The Carolina Country Music Awards also nominated him for Tour of The Year and Country Song of The Year, in 2025. They also acknowledged him with Male Artist of The Year, Emerging New Artist, Song of The Year nominations in the past and awarded Music Video of The Year in 2023. His first record deal was with Hwy One Records and has been working in tandem with his team at the record label and also got the opportunity to record with Dolly Parton’s producer, Kent Wells, on music row in Nashville.

Justin Lacy

Not just a singer-songwriter, Justin Lacy is an arranger, stop-motion animator and music video filmmaker. Lacy grew up in Carteret County, on the coast of North Carolina. After moving to Wilmington, NC, Lacy performed in several bands, eventually forming Justin Lacy and the Swimming Machine, a nine-piece folk outfit utilizing all manner of odd instrumentation (there was even a tap dancer on some nights).

Lacy has completed 2 film scores, 3 EPs, and 4 albums. Today, he often performs with an orchestral ensemble of clarinets, mandolins, strings and voices, sometimes cramming up to 12 musicians on stage. These orchestral arrangements are the basis for his newest full-length, “Carousel.”
